How we choose between a website, a web app, and a native mobile product

Not every idea needs an app store listing. Marketing sites, authenticated web apps, and native mobile products solve different jobs. We start with frequency of use, offline needs, device sensors, and whether the audience already lives in a browser.

A high-intent brochure or lead site can be a website. Recurring workflows, dashboards, and multi-role operations usually belong in a web app. Native mobile earns its cost when push, camera, location, or daily-open habits are core to the product.

The wrong first bet is expensive because teams then spend quarters retrofitting a channel nobody needed. We document the choice, the trade-offs, and the path to add a second channel later without a rewrite.
